We talk about building an educated society for the progress of a nation. But what's education all about? Is it just about the big numbers in the academic statistics? The society has stereotyped and converged the meaning of education to that. I believe there is more to it. On the contrary, I don't think that should even be the meaning of education. Everyday I read news, I get this impression of people becoming more and more intolerant towards other's opinions and convictions. I see people losing discipline, patience over small things. I see people becoming more selfish, disrespectful, unkind towards each other. Empathy has become alienated. They have become more egoistic that to be humble and to forgive make you a "soft" and "weak" person. What's the use of your high academic scores if you don't even have the commonsense to how to behave and conduct yourself in a respectable society. Tolerance, Respect, Patience, Discipline, Forgiveness, Humble
