It was heartbreaking at times to see him lose on close matches in last few years in slams. He was getting older. He was 35. He had to come back from a 6 month injury. He had the toughest draw in the tournament with flurry of 5 setters in a row. But he believed in himself. Fans believed in him and here he is winning the impossible 18th.... What an inspiration !.... We hail the master genius <3 _/\_ #GOAT <3This This photo is framed forever <3 :* . Congrats Rafa on his come back too. Most relentless fighter ever. Rafa showed he has still got everything to win slams......I would never remember the way you pulled it off impossible come back in that 5th set from 1-3 down. Rafa was never going down his level, with impeccable defence. But you unleashed the master within you at the right time to pull off the impossible win. Lot of amazing rallies , points , legacy ....And in the end sweet #18 beating the biggest challenger....What a match to remember Be18eved ! Now we can start Be19eving !! :*
Beyond legacy, these two are absolute gentlemen and friends <3 Can we witness them again head to head? who knows....we wait again
