Lead them to light, not ignorance.

Can't help but have to put a post with frustration in my mind.

In light of the recent rape cases, capital punishment to the culprits may subdue the public rage and restrain these incidents for a while. But what about in the long run ?

I believe things should start at school, where a future citizen's character and mindset are moulded. The responsibility rests primarily with teachers and then parents.  It should start from school by teachers and by parents at home. It's high time Sex Education should be a part of the curriculum starting from  the primary school. It is high time creating distinction between a boy and a girl should be ceased. Let them feel we all are same and respect the differences in one another. Exercising naive things like: "I will put you in between girls if you speak in my class, that would be shameful"; "Don't sit, talk, walk, or roam with a girl around here"; " I saw you with a girl yesterday, Are you both in relationship ha ?!". Every time you swear these things to a kid, it injects corruption and misconception in their character, and as well as increase the rebel nature inside them. These mentalities towards kids should change. Else, it will only increase their curiosity over the "alienated" opposite gender with the the age, until one day it breaks out in the form of hateful acts, when they feel they got a chance finally.

Education and roll model, teachers and parents give to the kids, it is the one vital factor that decides the future of social life in a country. Lead them to light, not ignorance.
